Access Statement

The house is approached via a large gravel drive with ample parking and space. Access to the house is via 3 steps and a stone pathway. The frontdood is wide with a small threshold. On entry the dining room is to the right at the same level. To gain access to the rooms it is necessary to climb a staircase to the first floor. There are 10 steps to a small landing which to the left has access to the room Rhandregynwen via another 3 steps and a door or to the right access to the other 2 rooms via another 2 steps. When accessing the rooms Rodneys pillar and Long Mountain another small landing is reached, to go to the rooms there are another 2 steps until a large landing. Rodneys Pillar is straight off this landing. Long Mountain however involves going up another flight of stairs with a 180 degree bend and small landing near the top. The doorway to Long Mountain is very low and has a large threshold, however once inside there is plenty of room.

There is plenty of room for guide dogs in all the rooms. The stairs are wide and not steep. Most of the stairways have bannisters all the way up however short sections do not. The breakfast area is large and is free from obsticles around the table. The bathrooms are large however no aids have been added for those with impaired movement or other disabilities.
